電影很刺激，我一邊看，一邊孤疑，到底有誰會做這種工作呀？基於人性，我相信人人都怕死。但可以肯定的是，生命裡有一些東西比死更恐怖，比「不死」更珍貴。
JAMES完成任務後，回到平常的日子，反而覺得無所適從，於是他重回戰場。電影沒有為他最後的選擇多作解釋，但片末其實已隱隱告訴我們原由。
當他的兒子正在把玩手上的玩具，他跟兒子說：
You love playing with that. You love playing with all your stuffed animals. You love your Mommy, your
Daddy. You love your pajamas. You love everything, don't ya? Yea. But you know
what, buddy? As you get older... some of the things you love might not seem so
special anymore. Like your Jack-in-a-Box. Maybe you'll realize it's just a
piece of tin and a stuffed animal. And the older you get, the fewer things you
really love. And by the time you get to my age, maybe it's only one or two
things. With me, I think it's one.
